"Las investigaciones fueron realizadas en el sitio de Jargampata, en el valle de San Miguel, un tributario del Pampa, que corre paralelo pero en sentido contrario al río de Ayacucho, llamado río Huarpa. El sitio está constituido por una serie de unidades y pequeñas estructuras amorfas distribuidas irregularmente sobre una extensión de aproximadamente 1 Km. Las estructuras consisten en paredes irregulares de piedras de campo unidas en material con barro. Existe además un grupo de andenes adyacentes al centro del sitio, que dado su extensión puede suponerse de utilidad agrícola" |
