Contenido: La investigación apunta a un asunto enmarcado en la conducta de los agentes y las instituciones políticas que afectaron, en particular, a un grupo no-indígena de la sociedad tardo-colonial: el de los criollos americanos. Se plantearán preguntas y se aplicará el análisis antropológico a acontecimientos, conductas y discursos tratados tradicionalmente por historiadores preocupados en los procesos que involucraron a la sociedad hispano-criolla. En efecto, la perspectiva antropológica es un instrumento idóneo para abordar el pasado histórico tanto como para el trabajo de campo etnográfico que estudia las sociedades indígenas o mestizas contemporáneas. No obstante, esta aproximación antropológica de la sociedad a partir de fuentes coloniales obliga a recurrir a la crítica heurística y al tratamiento hermenéutico, desde antiguo utilizados por los historiadores |
