El Partido Comunista del Perú-Sendero Luminoso (PCP-SL) obligó a miles de mujeres y a sus familias, asentadas en ambas márgenes del río Ene, a desplazarse hacia el monte virgen de la selva de Satipo. A partir de 300 testimonios recogidos por la CVR, prohibida la tristeza reconstruye el proceso de dominación del PCP-SL en la provincia de Satipo, pro también la resistencia individual de la masa, mujeres adultas que estuvieron cautivas por más de diez años, con lo que demuestra el fracaso del PCP-SL en su intento de eliminar las libertades individuales y suprimir identidades y emociones, incluso la tristeza. |
