Resumen: Este libro reconstruye una historia invisibilizada y casi olvidada: la de los mineros del Perú en lucha por afirmar un proyecto propio, de clase, reivindicativo y político a la vez. A través de los testimonios de dirigentes y activistas sindicales de la {elpoca, comprometidos con el socialismo, se recupera la memoria de las {epicas batallas de los mineros y sus familias frente al gobierno militar en los años setenta; y en los ochenta, enfrentando la ofensiva neoliberal con la demanda de la negociación colectiva por rama, en medio de la cruenta violencia política y guerra sucia, entre cuyas víctimas estuvo uno de sus grandes dirigentes: Saúl Cantoral Huamaní. |
