El primer registro técnico de este tramo de camino fue realizado por los arqueólogos Gerald Zubiaga y Moisés Ríos el año 2003, como parte de actividades del Proyecto Qhapaq Ñan, en aquella oportunidad se registraron los subtramos de costa en Pampa Piedra labrada, Cerro Sechín, Pampa Colorada, y Pariacoto - Cajamarquilla, aunque este último subtramo es en verdad una variante del camino que sale de Pariacoto y se dirige hacia el pueblo de Olleros en el callejón de Huaylas. |
